Eligibility Requirements
Any member of Maine Highlands FCU has the privilege of applying for a loan, and members need not wait until their loans are paid in full before requesting additional credit.
Loan Processing Time
Every effort is made to have the loan proceeds available for members as soon as possible.
Multiple Loans
Members may have any combination of loans as provided by the loan policy, limited in amount by the security offered, their ability to repay, and their credit worthiness. Members may repay their loan in full at any time. There are never any prepayment penalties, or hidden charges.
Truth-In-Lending
Under the provisions of this Act, Maine Highlands FCU is required to express its terms and costs on each loan uniformly. The annual percentage rate (APR) is the amount of finance charge expressed as an annual rate. The APR makes it possible to compare credit costs among lenders. No member will be denied any service because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age (providing the applicant has the capacity to enter a binding contract).
